About me

Dr Kennedy graduated in medicine from Queen’s University in Belfast and then came to London to gain experience.

He had positions at Guys, St. Stephens and St. Mary Abbots hospitals before being appointed as Medical Director of Rehabilitation at the Royal Star and Garter Hospital, Roehampton, a unit which treated disabled servicemen and women. He retired from this position in 2002.

He practised at 30 Harley Street Clinic for over 30 years and established one of the few “one stop shops” in the UK where patients can have consultation, investigation and treatment in the clinic. The world renowned clinic relocated to join The London Sports Injury Clinic team at 108 Medical Chambers in August 2013.

Dr Kennedy has a long history of working with elite sportsmen and women, including Olympic athletes, international cricketers, world champion professional boxers, champion jockeys, Wimbledon tennis champions and champion golfers.

He also looked after several International sport teams, including the New Zealand cricket team of 1979 and the unbeaten British Isles Rugby Union team of 1974.
