I have worked as a Registered Dietitian for many years, combining NHS work with a busy private practice. As well as having a wide range of experience in most areas of dietetic care, I hold a specialist post working with Eating Disorders.
Help and advice about...
•weight reduction and troubleshooting the dieting dilemma.
•weight loss surgery (bariatric)
•irritable bowel syndrome (registered as trained in FODMAP approach)
•weight restoration (nutritional support)
•inflammatory bowel disease
WHAT IS A DIETITIAN?
A registered dietitian (RD) communicates the science of nutrition in a practical way to promote nutritional well-being, treat disease and prevent nutrition-related problems.
My aim is always to provide appropriate and accurate advice and information, both verbal and written, in an easy-to-understand, interesting and informative manner. Where possible and if appropriate, I like to add a little humour!
I have been actively involved in and thoroughly enjoy my work as a nutrition educator to a variety of audiences through -
•one to one consultations
•public and professional talks
•nutrition advice to schools and industry
