About me
Dr Carla Cordivari obtained her medical degree in Bologna, Italy. She is a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, consulting privately at The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth, London Independent Hospital, Wellington Hospital. She performs and interprets the neurophysiology of the nerve and muscle (NCS and EMG) for the diagnosis of generalised peripheral neuropathy, focal nerve entrapments, radiculopathies, myopathy and neuromuscular transmission disorder.
Over the last 20 years she has also developed an interest in the use of Botulinum toxin treatment for neurological conditions such as spasticity and dystonia.
She also has a special interest in the neurophysiology of movement disorders. (myoclonus, tremor and psychogenic disorders).
Dr Cordivari runs a parallel joint clinic with Hand & Upper Limb Surgeons as well as working in conjunction with other orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists and neurologists. She regularly attends Multidisciplinary team meeting with surgeons.
