About me

I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has specialised in upper limb surgery (Hand, Shoulder and Elbows). I have held a specialist register since 1999 and have been a consultant since 2001. I have also worked with the Medical School at the University of Dundee since 1997 and have a large experience in teaching and research having published and presented several papers related to my practice including wrist fusions, and elbow replacements, shoulder surgery etc
I am currently developing a service to treat sequels of stroke and other brain injuries that often result in disabling deformities in the hands!
Whereas these cannot be cured the function can often be greatly improved and in the worst cases the care can be made much easier and more effective.
