About me

London Based Sports Medicine Dr. Ralph Rogers, MD PhD MBA FACN FECSS FACSM FFSEM (IRE, UK) began his professional education in the United States. On a Sports Scholarship for Lacrosse, Ralph obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware. He then travelled to Europe, spending a brief time in Italy then settling in Belgium, where he learned to speak Flemish fluently. He then attended the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium where he received his medical training in Flemish. Upon graduating from Leuven, Dr. Rogers returned to the United States where he was awarded a Scholarship to pursue a PhD in Exercise Physiology at the University of Maryland. During the pursuit of his PhD at Maryland, he was also awarded a Research Fellowship from the National Institute of Health (NIH), where he focused on the study of blood flow in exercising muscle. Upon completing his PhD at Maryland and Research Fellowship with NIH, Dr. Rogers then returned to Belgium where he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship atFree University of Brussels,. Years after establishing a thriving private medical practice in Birmingham, England, Dr. Rogers continued his educational pursuit by attending theUniversity of Leicester, where he researched “Organisational Networking in Sports Medical Services in English Professional Football”. Through this thought provoking analytical research, Dr. Rogers obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA).
