About me

Mr. Adegbite is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist at North Manchester General Hospital. He studied medicine at Volograd University medical school, before completing his postgraduate training in the North West of England.

He has wide ranging expertise in all aspects of general gynaecology including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. He is accomplished in most minimally invasive techniques and believes that all patients benefit from surgery that will limit hospital stay and promote a rapid return to health and activities of daily living. His progressive surgical techniques include the use of mesh graft material for urinary incontinence.

Mr Adegbite's clinical interests include; pelvic pain, endometriosis, menstrual dysfunction, infertility, vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence. He also undertakes regular urodynamic clinics in both his private and NHS practices

Urogynaecology - Urodynamics, Stress related disorders (TVT-O, TVT, colposuspension), Prolapse surgery (sacrospinous fixation, anterior and posterior pelvic floor repair), Overactive bladder.

Gynaecology:- Endometriosis; Fertility / Infertility and assisted conception; Menstrual disorders (menorrhagia) - Novasure ablation, Hysterectomy. Laparoscopic procedures ('keyhole surgery') - investigation and treatment of endometriosis, removal of ovarian cysts.
Management of miscarriage and recurrent miscarriages.
Menopause.
