About me

I've trained and worked for more than 25 years in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and been a Consultant for over 16 years. I see over 1500 patients per year in the NHS and privately. I am a co-founder of the Birmingham Fibroid Clinic since 2006 and enjoy working in this field .
My private practice is based at the BMI Priory hospital in Edgbaston ( Saturday AM) and the Spire Parkway hospital in Solihull (Tuesday AM and Friday PM ). I receive referrals both national and international for ladies with Fibroids and abnormal bleeding and have a variety of therapeutic options to offer. I manage many ladies with heavy periods or irregular ones in when in the perimenopause. The 3 most recent published multicentre clinical trials I have been involved with as co-investigator have dealt with ladies with fibroids, heavy bleeding and pelvic pain.
For the past few years I have been involved in teaching programs for doctors and medical officers both local and overseas in surgery and emergency medicine.
I do paediatric Gynaecology and look after adolescent girls with gynaecological problems at the Children's Hospital
