About me

Dr Ken Laji is a consultant physician and endocrinologist, employed as lead clinician in department of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Internal Medicine at St Richard's Hospital, West Sussex (UK). He has experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of diseases of endocrine system. In addition, he also has dual accreditation extending to Internal Medicine, and is responsible for acute medical admissions at St Richard's Hospital. Outpatient clinics that deal with a wide range of diseases are delivered both at the NHS hospital (St Richard's) and the Nuffield.

He has published papers in peer reviewed journals in both specialties and speaks regularly at local, regional and national meetings. He is actively involved in teaching and training, and regularly lectures for medical students, junior doctors and nurses training. He is a recognised lecturer at University of Glamorgan and King's College Medical School.

He also has a keen interest in clinical informatics, data management and art. Besides developing a busy and responsive department, he is actively involved in local and National IT initiatives. He is the founder and CEO of the cloud based EMR and practice management system ClinicYou (http://www.clinicyou.com).
