About me
Dr Abraham Kurian is a physician/neurologist who has specialised in Clinical Neurophysiology which include study of peripheral nerves and muscles using specialised techniques such as electromyography and nerve conduction studies to help make a diagnosis. He sees a large number of patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, Ulnar neuropathies, peripheral neuropathies and muscle diseases in his practice. He has special expertise in Electroencephalography used for investigating diseases affecting the brain, mostly Epilepsy, in all age groups.
He holds postgraduate qualifications in General internal Medicine, Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology.
He is currently Programme Director for Clinical Neurophysiology Specialty Training Programme and Chairman of Clinical Neurophysiology Specialty Training committee. He is also a Member of the Board of Wessex Post Graduate School of Medicine
