I am one of only a handful of truly specialist hip surgeons in the UK. My NHS and private practice is solely devoted to treating hip conditions.
Because I purely specialise in hips each year I do hundreds of hip replacement operations each year. This has allowed me to become highly experienced in the hip replacement field leading to very low complication rates.
At The BMI Priory - I offer hip pain relieving injections, Total Hip Replacements and Revision surgery (helping patients where previous hip surgery has failed).
In my private practice I treat people from around the world, with all kinds of hip injuries caused by playing sport or trauma or arthritis.
I am a highly qualified surgeon I graduated from the Charing Cross Medical School in 1995 with distinction. I also won the surgery prize. My higher surgical training in Orthopaedics brought me to the West Midlands.
I also undertook advanced training in complex and revision hip surgery in Oxford before taking up my consultant post at the one of the leading specialist Orthopaedic hospitals in the country - the Royal Orthopaedic in Birmingham in 2004.
As well being a leading consultant and having a clinical hip practice at the Royal Orthopaedic hospital - I am also Medical Director.
I have presented at hip conferences around the globe, I teach other surgeons and have carried out research into new hip surgery techniques. I have also had papers published around the world.
