About me

Professor Mohammed Keshtgar is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist, working at the Royal Free and Whittington Hospitals in London. He obtained his MBBS from the King Edward Medical University in Lahore and subsequently, his FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After completing his basic surgical training in Dublin, he moved to London and completed his higher surgical training in the North London rotation and obtained her Intercollegiate Degree on Cancer Surgery and also his PhD from the University of London on Sentinel Node in Surgical Oncology.

Professor Keshtgar’s main area of specialist interest is breast cancer and his main research interest is minimally invasive approaches in management of breast cancer. He has co-authored 3 textbooks and over 200 pre-reviewed publications. He has also delivered in excess of 60 invited lectures in the UK and abroad in over 20 countries.
