About me

Having done his higher surgical training in Wessex and East Anglia including Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, Mr Ravichandran was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in 2001. He has completed a PhD in cancer at the University of Southampton and have published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, mainly in breast cancer. His main clinical practice is breast cancer surgery including reconstructions, thyroid and parathyroid surgery and hernias. He has a keen interest in medical education and is a higher surgical (JCIE) examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.
