About me

I am a General Surgeon with an interest in Gastrointestinal disease and laparoscopic surgery.
My sub-speciality is in Upper gastrointestinal Surgery for Cancer and Reflux disease.
I have a particular interest in patient assessment and pre-optimisation prior to major surgery and have been manging an Enhanced recovery programme for my patients for over 9 years.
I have been in Consultant practice at the BMI Alexandra Hospital since 2002 and have good working relationships with local GP's and my Consultant colleagues.
I hold weekly out-patient clinics on a Monday evening and at other times on an ad hoc basis according to patient needs.
I perform Gastrointestinal endoscopy and Surgery at the hospital at times to suite patient requirements.
All patients are offered a permanent record of consultations/procedures in the form of "copy letters" sent to their GP.
Procedure based information booklets are provided for patients undergoing surgical & endoscopic interventions.
