About me

Tahseen Hasan worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Sunderland before being appointed as a Consultant at the Freeman Hospital in 2000. He has particular expertise in the management of voiding problems including incontinence. He offers sacral neuromodulation for patients with overactive bladders/detrusor overactivity. His other major interest is the treatment of urinary tract stone, kidney stones, minimally invasive kidney surgery and robotic kidney surgery.

As well as regular clinical sessions at the Freeman Hospital, Mr Hasan also works as an Honorary Consultant at North Tyneside Hospital where he delivers a comprehensive general urology service.

Mr Hasan has been involved in the training and assessment of urology registrars, and is a post-graduate examiner for the FRCS (Urol).
