About me

I am on the Specialist Register as an Orthopaedic Consultant, and my clinical practice is exclusively surgery of the Hand, Wrist and Elbow. In addition, I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Human Bone cell research group at the University of Liverpool. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Salford.

Over the last few years I have developed a special interest in sports medicine and am the hand surgeon to over 25 professional sports teams and national sporting bodies. I have recently been awarded the status of a Founding Fellow in the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (FFSEM UK), I am an examiner for the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine.
I am a keen teacher and regularly lecture in the UK, Europe and the USA. My research is regularly published in European and American Literature.
