I have been a Consultant in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in Wrexham since 2004.
After qualifying from Oxford University in 1992, I held a number of post posts in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Sheffield. During my training in the Sheffield area I gained experience in many industrial lung conditions as well as additional experience in adult cystic fibrosis, immunology and interventional bronchoscopy. I held a locum Consultant post in the Pulmonary Hypertension unit prior to moving to Wales.
I am the faculty lead for medical education in Wrexham and have been involved in setting professional examinations for Physicians in training over 10 years. I also Chair the North Wales BMA local negotiating committee.

I have publications in cystic fibrosis, asthma and immunology and have been involved in a number of phase 3 drug trials.
Recently I was an investigator in the trial of inhaled mannitol in bronchiectasis.
I have many hobbies including lacrosse, archery, bee keeping, early English furniture and house restoration. All with a young family to keep me busy.
