About me

I was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician at Central Middlesex Hospital in 1999. In my NHS practice I am a senior consultant in a busy gastroenterology department, managing patients with a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary disorders. I am a lead physician for inflammatory bowel disease at Central Middlesex Hospital, where there is a dedicated clinic for patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
I am a trainer of foundation and specialist postgraduate doctors of all levels and I teach undergraduate medical students from Imperial College, London.
I have over 20 years of specialist experience. I trained at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin and completed my specialist training at The Middlesex and Central Middlesex Hospitals in London. I have presented my research at numerous national and international scientific meetings.
I am committed to providing the highest standards of patient care and communication. I have excellent results from patient satisfaction surveys and countless complimentary letters from patients over many years. I perform endoscopic procedures to a very high standard and audit my clinical practice regularly.
As a female gastroenterologist at the Clementine Churchill Hospital I am pleased to provide a service for women with gastrointestinal problems.
