About me
I undertook my early post graduate career in South Wales before gaining specialist training in gastroenterology in the West Midlands. I undertook research at The City Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham conducting research into Coeliac Disease and iron metabolism.
My current speciality interests are interventional Endoscopy including EMRs in the upper and lower Gastrointestinal system.
I am a JAG accredited bowel cancer screening practitioner and regularly teach on JAG accredited basic skills colonoscopy courses.
Additional interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease and upper GI motility disorders.
I am a undergraduate lecturer at the Shropshire campus of Keele University.
Areas of interest
interventional endoscopy and colonoscopy including capsule endoscopy; inflammatory bowel disease; Gastro-intestinal physiology (oesophageal manometry, impedance and pH studies).
