Jeremy is a Consultant Medical Oncologist based at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in Medical Oncology at the Cancer Research UK Medical Oncology unit in Oxford. During this time he completed a PhD and developed an interest in drug development and clinical trials. Jeremy has worked in Bristol since 2003 and developed a large research focused clinical practice specialising in breast, testicular and germ cell cancers. Jeremy is the lead oncology clinician at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. He is enthusiastic about improving patients’ experience of chemotherapy treatments and has helped lead the development of home and community chemotherapy services in Bristol. Jeremy sits on a NICE Technology Appraisal Committee evaluating new medicines. He is actively involved in clinical research and works one day a week as a Senior Clinical Research Fellow with the Early Breast Cancer Trialists Collaborative group based at Oxford University. Jeremy has co-authored over 40 peer reviewed publications.

Jeremy is an honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol and is a prinicpal investigator at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre for several clinical trials in breast, and testicular cancer. He also works one day per week as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford with the Early Breast Cancer Trialists Collaborative Group. This international group of leading breast cancer trialists review all of the available evidence from randomised clinical trials in early breast cancer to help optimise individual patients treatments.
