About me

I qualified as a doctor in 1983 and underwent training in General Surgery , General urology and Urological Oncology and male sexual dysfunction.After my appointemnt as a consultant urologist in 1996 I have been practising at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield (MidYorkshire NHS Trust). I have 23 years of consultant experience in treating Urological patients. I treat all types of urological conditions but my special interest is in managing patients with urological cancers and male sexual dysfunction. I have maintained a significant interest in clinical research and am the principle local investigator for international, EORTC and MRC cancer trials. I have co-authored many research articles which have been published in peer reviewed journals. I have held several key management positions and currently I am an Associate medical director responsible for quality and safety in my Hospital

Areas of interest

Investigation and management of lower urinary tract symptoms including benign and malignant Prostate diseases .Investigation and management urinary tract bleeding and Bladder cancer. Investigation and management of patients presenting with recurrent urinary tract infection.Management of male sexual dysfunction including Peyronies disease management, penile implant surgery.
