About me

Nicola Roche is a Consultant Breast Surgeon at the Royal Marsden Hospital. She graduated in 1989 from Trinity College, Dublin. She sees private patients at The Lister Hospital, Chelsea Out Patients and the Royal Marsden Hospital. All her clinics are "one-stop" assessment clinics with radiology and biopsy as appropriate, supported by a breast care nurse.

She provides an oncoplastic approach to surgery, which combines plastic surgical techniques with oncological principles. She works in close collaboration with expert Medical Oncology, Genetic and Plastic Surgical Colleagues.
She has regularly featured in Tatler's top 250 consultants.

She specialises in the management of all aspects of breast disease. She has a particular interest in the risk assessment and screening of women with a family history of breast cancer, and in the management of cancer in younger women. Research includes management of Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS)
