Dr Linney has been the lead consultant in a multidisciplinary respiratory service for over 10 years. His specialty is treating difficult asthma, cystic fibrosis and infantile wheeze. Previously he was also neonatal lead (2003 – 2009) at St Richards. He also has a broad based experience in General Paediatric service.
Dr Linney completed his registrar training in the West Midlands including Paediatric Intensive Care, Stoke on Trent and Paediatric Respiratory Medicine at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He also spent 12 months in General Paediatrics and Neonatology in New Zealand.
His respiratory clinic will incorporate lung function testing and appropriate aeroallergen testing as needed with joint asthma reviews with an experienced respiratory nurse. We will individualise therapies and devices to give the best results for your child
