About me

Dr Fox trained within the South West and undertook a gastrointestinal and interventional fellowship at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.
He performs all areas of diagnostic imaging relating to the GI tract. He is also a diagnostic and interventional endoscopist (upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, upper and lower GI stenting and endoscopic ultrasound including intervention,).

National and international areas of expertise:
Recognised nationally and internationally for expertise in colorectal stenting.

Other roles eg teaching, editorial boards, modality lead etc:
He was instrumental in setting up the Peninsula Radiology Academy and has been Head of the Postgraduate School of Radiology for the Peninsula. He was the national module lead for the GI modules of the RCR eLD project and is now an assistant editor of the whole project. He remains a member of the RCR website committee and introduced the RCR ‘case of the month’ for which he remains the sole editor. He is aNational FRCR 2b examiner and sits on the FRCR examinations board.
He sits on a NICE expert panel (colonic polyp surveillance) and regional cancer network advisory groups.
He is an active editor for the BMJ, Clinical Radiology, BJR, European Radiology, European Journal of Clinical Oncology and CVIR.
