In consultant practice in a teaching hospital (Aberdeen Royal Infirmary) since 1996 and hold an honorary Clinical senior Lecturer position with the university of Aberdeen.

Areas of interest
My consultation practice spans general urology all the subspecialties of urology.
My subspecialty interests include Urological oncology; Reconstructive surgery; Female urology; General urology; Female and male urinary incontinence.
The most common procedures I perform include flexible and rigid Cystoscopy, TURP, TUR bladder tumour, Botox injections into the bladder, injection of bulking agents for female urinary incontinence, urethrotomy for strictures, excision of hydrocoeles and epididymal cysts, circumcision, procedures for male and female urinary incontinence and stenting and ureteroscopy for less complex ureteric stones.
The andrology procedures I perform include vasectomy, Vasectomy reversal and operations for Peyronie's disease.
I routinely perform complex open renal surgery, insertion of artificial urinary sphincters and open surgical procedures for female urinary incontinence in my busy NHS practice.
