Girish provides a full clinical programme in both medical and surgical dermatology. Since 2005, he has focused on the management of skin cancer and he was appointed as the Clinical Lead for the West of Scotland skin cancer network from 2009 to 2014. He was also a member of the National Cancer Research Institute skin cancer group from 2014 to 2017.
Girish has specialist interests in the Management of skin cancer, Mole screening, Topical therapy of pre-cancerous skin conditions and Tele-dermatology.
He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has written a chapter on skin cancer in the international Textbook of Dermatology. In 2015, he was appointed Honorary Clinical Associate Professor by the University of Glasgow.
