Mr Chris Servant is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based at the Nuffield Hospital Ipswich and The Ipswich Hospital. He qualified as a doctor from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in 1990 and then trained in Orthopaedics in Bath and Swindon, gaining further experience in Southampton and Bristol. He has also worked as an Orthopaedic Fellow at the North Sydney Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre in Australia, where he gained specialist experience in knee ans shoulder surgery.
His current practice includes the management of knee problems (including arthroscopic surgery and ligament reconstruction) and sports injuries.
He lives just outside Ipswich and is married with two children. His outside interests include golf, cycling, football, rugby, cricket, windsurfing and snowboarding – in fact virtually any sport! For 7 years he was a team doctor for Bath Rugby Club.

Published work includes two books and research papers on knee arthroplasty, ACL injury, ACL reconstruction, PCL injury, patellofemoral realignment and hamstring injury.
Personal interests include virtually all sports, including golf, cycling, windsurfing and snowboarding. Previously I competed in athletics & cross-country, rugby, football and cricket.
