About me

Dr Reffitt qualified from Bristol University in 1990. After completing his General Medical Training in Bristol Royal Infirmary, he moved to London in 1993 and as a registrar trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology over the next 7 years at St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital. He spent 3 years in research and completed an MD thesis in Gastroenterology at The Rayne Institute, St Thomas' Hospital, University of London. He has been a Consultant in his current post since December 2002. He has specialist interests in rectal bleeding, anaemia, diarrhoea and constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, nutrition, dyspepsia and acid disorders of the stomach and pancreatico-biliary disease.
