About me

My clinical practices encompasses all aspects of general & GI surgery with a special interest in Upper GI malignancies, gastro intestinal reflux disease, gall stone disease, hernia surgery and minimally invasive surgery.

I graduated from the University of Punjab and completed my higher surgical training in Aberdeen in 1998. I undertook a period of research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre, Harvard University, Boston USA, a renowned centre for research in sepsis and nutrition.

My surgical fellow ship was at Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong which is in internationally renowned centre for upper GI malignancies, Minimally Invasive Surgery and advanced Gastro Intestinal Endoscopy.

Abdominal surgery for upper GI and colon malignancies. Surgery for inflammatory bowel disease. Anorectal surgery including treatment for anal fissure with botulin toxin,sphincterotomy, haemorrhoids and anal fistulas. Removal of benign skin lesions, ingrown toe nail.
