I am a consultant diagnostic and interventional radiologist practicing appointed in 1999. In 2002 I was given an consultant contract at the local regional paediatric hospital.
My diagnostic specialist areas of interest include genitourinary and gastrointestinal radiology. I am a co-founder of the British Society of Genitourinary Radiology (BSUR) and have performed many roles in the society. I am a member of the British Society of Gastrointestinal & Abdominal Radiology (BSGAR). My research interests are male imaging with special reference to multi-parametric MRI prostate imaging, complex genitourinary MRI and small and large bowel CT & MRI imaging.
My Interventional specialist areas of interest include interventional oncology (tumour ablation, embolisation & vascular malformations), vascular access and embolisation (varicocele, prostate artery, pelvic congestion syndrome and fibroids).
I am actively involved in teaching and training nationally and locally giving regular lectures and mentoring other consultants. I am active in research, publications and written several book chapters.
I have founder both the interventional oncology UK (IOUK) society and vascular anomalies special interest group (VASIG) to improve patient care by delivering education to the consultant body.
I have held several national positions within a number of national societies including BSIR (education chair, scientific program chair, secretary and Vice president); BSUR board & faculty member, IOUK cofounder and board member and VASIG chairman.

Urogenital; Gastrointestinal (CT Colonography & MR Enteroclysis); Vascular malformations, Multiparametric prostate MRI and complex genitourinary MRI..
Interventional radiology:- Vascular access (power ports, Groshong & Hickman lines); High flow and low flow malformation sclerotherapy; Interventional oncology (embolisation and ablation therapies); Urogenital, Gastrointestinal and paediatric intervention.
