About me

I lead the introduction of minimally invasive radical prostatectomy to Scotland in 2006 and have since performed approximately 1700 of these operations, using both laparoscopic and robotically-assisted techniques. I am arguably the most experienced minimal access (laparoscopic) urological surgeon in Scotland covering the breadth of urological procedures.
I have a major interest in ensuring patients are well-informed and participate in decision making and was a founding trustee of the charity Prostate Scotland. the charity aims to raise awareness of prostate disease and provide information to men and their families.
