About me

Jonathan was appointed to Guy's in 1999 and is now the senior consultant in the stone unit. He receives referrals for complex stone surgery from numerous centres throughout England. He operates on kidney stones in adults and children, working with the children's urology team. He has taught kidney stone surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England Basic and Advanced surgery courses, and at the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) annual meetings. He is vice chairman of the section of endourology of BAUS.

Jonathan also sees patients with other general urological complaints sush as benign prostate disease.

As well as being the urological editor for the 39th edition of Gray's Anatomy, Jonathan has responsibilities in the training programme of our urological trainees.
