About me

In light of the COVID-19 virus, I am offering telephone/video consultations to all patients.

Jonathan was appointed to Guy's and St Thomas Hospital in 1999 and is now the Senior Consultant in the Stone Unit. He receives referrals for complex stone surgery from numerous centres throughout the UK and worldwide. He operates on kidney stones in adults and children, working with the Paediatric Urology team. He has taught kidney stone surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England Basic and Advanced surgery courses, and at the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) annual meetings. He was previously the Chair of the section of Endourology of BAUS and now represents BAUS on the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Jonathan also sees patients with other general urological complaints sush as benign prostate disease.

As well as being the urological editor for the 39th edition of Gray's Anatomy, Jonathan has responsibilities in the training programme of our urological trainees.
