Mr Assassa has over 17 years experience as a Consultant in Gynaecology and is a specialist in Urogynaecology (problems with Bladder control, continence and Vaginal Prolapse). He has pioneered New Surgical and none-surgical therapies for continence. Often making treatment quicker, more confortable and with a shorter recovery time.

Mr Assassa represents the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists in helping NICE (The National Institute of Clinical Excelence) review new surgical techniques in Urogynaecology.

Mr Assassa has been the Chair of Clinical Audit for the British Society of Urogynaecology and still works on the committee. He regularly audits his work and the results are among the best in the country for low complications, high success rates and high patient satisfaction.
