Howard Marshall trained at Leeds University graduating in 1988. After moving to the Midlands for specialist training he gained his MD from the University of Birmingham focusing on Atrioventricular Node Ablation and Pacing in the Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation.
He was appointed as a Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2000. Since then he has developed the pacing and defibrillator service at the QE to become the largest in the region.
With Mike Griffith, he has expanded the ablation service making it one of the biggest AF ablation centres in the UK, running several International live courses.
Howard enjoys classical music, fell walking and scuba diving but not at the same time .
