I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff for 20 years. I qualified in 1988 from St Bartholomew's Medical School, London and did my post graduate training in London, the South-West of England, and Wales.

I have over 70 publications in a variety of areas of Gastroenterology. My MD was based on research into the link between smoking and inflammatory bowel disease. I have published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Gastroenterology and Gut.
I enjoy all sport in particular rugby. I am a keen guitarist but have much room for improvement.
