About me

I am a fully qualified and experienced person centred counsellor.  Specialising in trauma, abuse and PTSD.  I also have experience working within Employee Assistance Programmes, and within Higher Education settings for University Students. I am a registered and accredited member of The National Counselling Society and adhere to professional standards and also work within their ethical framework.  I provide one to one counselling to adults and young people aged 16+

I am extremely experienced and skilled in working with anxiety; depression; stress; relationship issues; work related stress; low self-esteem; bereavement; loss and grief; eating disorders; anger issues; self-harm; PTSD; childhood sexual abuse; early childhood trauma; trauma and abuse in adulthood; trauma and abuse in childhood care settings; identity issues; addictions.
