Dr Keen is involved with research projects examining new imaging techniques to diagnose osteoporosis and other bone diseases. He is looking at new treatments for these conditions.
He also has an interest in bone stress injuries that occur in athletes, and has worked with UK Sport and professional rugby clubs looking at non-surgical treatments to improve fracture repair.
Outside of medicine, Dr Keen enjoys time with his wife and three children. He is interested in sport, particularly rugby and cricket.
