I have a very low incidence of complications following major arterial surgery. I have performed over 2000 endovenous laser procedures for varicose veins with >99% success and no serious complications. I have had no major complications or mortality in thyroid surgery, venous surgery, hernia repair and cholecystectomy in 18 years of consultant practice. I have a very low incidence of postoperative infection.
