About me

Hello I'm Lyanne & I specialise in anxiety based issues such as Phobias, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, OCD, Panic Attacks & Trauma.
I use an integrative approach, which comprises of counselling coupled with psychotherapeutic techniques.
We'll decide together which specific techniques to use, based on your individual issue/s & preferences.

Most of my clients are initially quite stressed & anxious, so we may work on reducing this, before addressing the underlying cause if appropriate/desired.

My approach is broadly Humanistic, as I feel we tend to have a sense of what we need when we're struggling - but may need support to help us get there.

I am accredited with the National Counselling Society, registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register.
