About me

I work privately as an online therapist and as a specialist psychologist in the eating disorders service for the NHS. I have previously worked with women in psychiatric intensive care unit who experience severe, debilitating mental health problems and male forensic patients to support them in their rehabilitation.

I also worked as a military psychologist, supporting soldiers and their families and treating associated traumatic difficulties that they experienced and other related problems.

I worked as a multi-systemic therapist for the a council supporting young people who were at risk of exploitation, using drugs and presented with behaviour difficulties. I also worked with young people in mainstream schools who were at risk of being excluded from mainstream education or were excluded and supporting them to reintegrate.



I provide clinical supervision and training to other professionals and give presentations on various topics like Eating Disorders, CBT, Record Keeping, Online Therapy and African Psychology.



I am passionate and enthusiastic about working with young people and adults and their families. My practice is person-centred; I will focus on your personal needs, wants, desires and goals and make them central to your care. This means allowing you to define them and to prioritise them. I will not tell you what to do but will support and facilitate a space for you to develop a better self-awareness and understanding. I base my practice on humanistic principles. These include respect for life and human dignity; equal rights and social justice; respect for cultural diversity, as well as a sense of shared responsibility.

I specialise in eating disorders and associated difficulties which include depression and anxiety, low self-esteem and poor body image. I offer integrative and CBT based approaches in my practice.
