About me

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist in Leeds, West Yorkshire with over 20 years experience as a doctor, and over 12 years' experience as a consultant.

My NHS post with Leeds and York NHS Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, where I work within a Community Mental Health Team. I am also currently Medical Lead for the West Locality CMHTs.

I can provide private psychiatric assessments and treatment recommendations for mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, PTSD, alcohol/substance misuse and psychosis.

I am also experienced in preparing medico-legal psychiatric reports for the courts.

I was educated at Repton School, Derbyshire, before graduating in medicine from the University of Bristol. I completed Basic and HIgher Specialist Training in psychiatry in Birmingham and Leeds, and have worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Yorkshire since 2008.
