About me

Miss MacGregor graduated from Edinburgh Medical School in 1986 and initially trained in surgery in Edinburgh and Glasgow. She subsequently worked in Otolaryngology at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.

She also worked at the Middlesex and Hammersmith Hospitals before returning to Glasgow and taking up a consultant post at Gartnavel General Hospital in 1997. In 2015 she joined the new Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. She has been a consultant at the Glasgow Nuffield and Ross Hall since 1998. She is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Glasgow University.

She was an Intercollegiate Examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons, a past Chairman of ENT Scotland and she sat on ENT UK council. She teaches on several courses and has written a number of book chapters and journal articles.

Voice disorders including professional voice users such as singers, actors, teachers. General ENT including sore throat, feeling of something in the throat and swallowing disorders ; assessment of neck lumps - benign & malignant.
