Dr Philip Ryan qualified in 1987 and has been a consultant respiratory physician since 1996. Having trained in the West Midlands at Heartlands, University Hospital Birmingham, the old General Hospital, Warwick and Sandwell, he commenced a post Herefordshire. Since starting he has developed a large number of patient services including bronchoscopy, medical thoracoscopy, pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep disordered breathing, lung cancer multidisciplinary team, allergy service and non-invasive ventilation
