About me

Mr Super is the senior upper GI Surgeon in the Upper GI Surgery Dept at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital where he has been a consultant for 18years (since 1999). He has one of the UK's largest practices of gastric band surgery (8000 cases completed) and also laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery (1150 cases completed), most of which he carries out as day case surgery. His other main interest is in laparoscopic cholecystectomy - laparoscopic surgery for gallstones and abdominal wall hernia surgery.
