About me

I was born in Manchester and educated in Yorkshire. I came back to Manchester to the School of Medicine in 1982 and qualified as a doctor in 1987. I spent the next 12 years in surgical training in Manchester, Glasgow and Australia.
I became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in 1992. I passed the part III FRCS in 1998 and was awarded the certificate of completion of specialist training [CCST] in 1998.
