Mr Keng Jin Ng is a consultant urological surgeon in London who specialises in female urology and minimally invasive surgery including laser treatment for renal stone disease . He received his training at the Institute of Urology, London as a clinical research fellow where he focused his research on bladder dysfunction and urodynamics. Mr Ng is an invited member of specialist interest group of International Urogynaecological Association(IUGA) on the subject of chronic pelvic pain and interstitial cystitis. Mr Ng is also a national and international trainer for Bulkamid bladder neck injection for urinary stress incontinence. He regularly holds surgical masterclasses for consultant colleagues on techniques of surgery and offers certificates of attendance. He is a regular speaker at The London Bladder Forum to an audience of consultant colleagues speaking on topics such as cystitis, urinary incontinence and the treatment of bladder pain syndrome.
Mr Ng recently presented at The National Bladder Forum at Royal College of Surgeons, London in March 2017 on “Painful Bladder” He co-chaired the Special Interest Group on Pelvic Pain Syndrome at the IUGA conference in Vancouver, Canada in June 2017 . He also lectured on “Update on Interstitial Cystitis” and “Pain Management in Bladder Pain Syndrome” at the international meeting. Later in the year, he has been invited to speak on “Prostatitis” at the forthcoming Royal Society of Medicine winter meeting in Sri Lanka in November 2017.
Mr Ng helped pioneered the new 4-cushion technique of Bulkamid bladder neck injection for urinary stress incontinence. His operation technique was adopted in the current official instructional video used for teaching consultant surgeons learning the operation.
