Both my length of stay and re-admission rates following surgery are below the national average.
The National Joint Registry shows that I perform above the average number of hip and knee replacements with below the average number requiring revisional surgery.
Of 583 knee replacements 88% were satisfied or very satisfied at 1 year after the surgery rising to 91% at 2 years. Of 499 hip replacements 95% were satisfied or very satisfied at 1 year and this was maintained at 2 and 3 years. 91% of revision hip patients were satisfied at 1 year rising to 94% at 3 years. 85% of revision knees were satisfied at 1 year rising to 100% at 3 years (though only 8 patients were assessed at 3 years)
