About me

I am an experienced chartered Health Psychologist. I also have a master practitioner diploma in eating disorders which includes nutritional interventions. I specialise in eating disorders, disordered eating, and obesity. I have many years’ experience working as a psychologist in the NHS and in private practice. I believe in establishing a rapport with clients and working collaboratively towards a shared understanding of exploring your difficulties to find the best way forward for you. I work with a range of therapeutic approaches including, Motivational Interviewing and Positive Psychology.
My area of interest and expertise is eating disorders, disordered eating, weight loss/maintenance and obesity. I offer individual sessions based on each client's needs. As a health psychologist I also specialise in supporting people to manage the impact of health conditions and manage chronic pain.
One of my strengths is establishing a rapport with people and working collaboratively with each person to find the therapeutic approach best suited to each client’s needs to help you to improve your quality of life.
