I am a compassionate therapist and aim to give you the space to understand your difficulties in a safe and supportive environment.
I work both face to face and also remotely. I have extensive experience delivering therapy on the telephone and via video platforms for both CBT and EMDR therapy.
CBT is a therapy that primarily seeks to identify what is maintaining the current problem and making changes that can break this cycle.
EMDR is a treatment for unresolved trauma where eye movements are used to help the brain process old memories which continue to have an impact on your life so that you can move forward.
In addition to CBT and EMDR, I am an experienced Mindfulness practitioner and teacher, having trained at Bangor University and at Breathworks. I integrate mindfulness as a therapeutic tool in working with recurrent depression, chronic pain and Anxiety.
