About me

Mr Alibhai is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial/Head and Neck surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, having previously worked at University College London Hospitals and Bart’s Health NHS Trusts.

He is a dual qualified surgeon and studied dentistry at the University of Liverpool and medicine at Kings College London achieving distinctions in clinical sciences and medicine.

Following completion of higher surgical training in London, he was successful in obtaining a post CCCT fellowship in head and neck cancer surgery at the renowned East Grinstead unit.

He was appointed locum consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2016 followed by a locum appointment at UCLH and Bart’s Health. He joined the UCLH team as a substantive consultant in 2017, where he has been associate clinical lead for head and neck surgery. He moved to Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust in 2020.

He is a clinical supervisor and assigned educational supervisor for higher surgical trainees in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He remains dedicated to achieving high levels of patient care and has received a patient nominated award in 2019.
