About me

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have 10 years’ experience and have worked with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties including depression, panic and anxiety disorders, co-dependency, loss, bereavement, eating disorders, anger management, P.T.S.D, substance misuse, family breakdown, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, transgender issues, chronic pain and many others.

Areas of interest

I have a special interest in how childhood experiences can continue to affect us in adult life. My approach is grounded in analytic theory. I am also influenced by attachment and trauma based approaches and work in a relational way;
I work mainly with adults but also work with children from the age of 13 to 16 and young adults (17 to 25). I have been a university counsellor for 4 years and have also worked in secondary schools.
